Accommodation & Meals
The small 20-room hotel is located in a small village, about 20 km outside Granada, and right on a small square at the church. The village is calm and quiet.
The hotel was built in 2013 in Spanish style with a modern touch and a stylishly simple and clean decor. The hotel specializes in receiving groups of various kinds, many of which are yoga groups.
The yoga hall is wonderfully light and airy with large windows to nature and mountains.
In the garden there is a nice and just big pool where you can relax in the sun and take a swim.
The rooms are quiet, bright and modernly furnished with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms.
Here you will enjoy yourself if you appreciate peace and quiet in a nature-friendly and comfortable environment with familiar and caring service.
You are served fresh vegetarian meals made with love and as far as possible of local produce. At one of the excursions you get a lunch box to bring. There is the opportunity to enjoy wine for the dinner if desired (paid on site).
The venue is near the capital of the province of the same name and the wider region holds a number of attractions. From the mystical Alpujarras mountains, to the Sierra Nevada and down to the Costa Tropical centred on Salobreña, a visitor to this province can ski in the morning, have lunch in the city, then sit on the beach in the afternoon. Not a bad claim to fame.
While on your yoga retreat these excursions are included.
- Spend an evening in Granada old town for a night out where you can experience the nightlife of Spain, nibbling tapas and get the chance to see local flamenco dancers.
- Stroll around the Albaycín, exploring the old Muslim quarter opposite the Alhambra and stop at the Arab tea house Abaco Tea for a journey in time with a tea and sweet local pastry, 1400AD style.
- Head up to the Mirador San Nicolás for a spectacular view of the Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada. Visit the Cathedral and Royal Chapel – resting place of the famous Catholic kings Fernando and Isabel.
- Beach trip to the Costa Tropical for the beach.
